I am a native of Kansas City, MO, born into a big family, raised by a school teacher and a pastor. I earned a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2012, and worked as a medical social worker for 12 years.
